HP Challenge : Day 11.
Day 11 : What character would you say you’re the most like?
Hmm…That’s a toughie. I’m not nearly as smart as Hermione, as badass as Ginny (in the books), or as “out there” as Luna. Can I be a mixture of the three?
I could see myself as Tonks, possibly? I get angry when you get my name wrong, and I am pretty klutzy.

Day 9: Who is your least favorite male character, and why?
I’ll leave Pettigrew alone today, and go with Fenrir Greyback.
Reasons why I hate him:
1) He likes to target young children when in werewolf form.
2) He likes to attack humans even when in human form.
3) He attacked Bill Weasley (the “cool” Weasley brother).

Day 7 : Who’s your favorite female character, and why?
Hermione. Let’s face it. If I were ever stuck in the wizarding world fighting Voldemort and his forces, I’d want Hermione as my backup - she’s clever and talented.
Tonks is a close second.
Home photos.
This past weekend, I had to look through family photos for “unlikely picture day” in research methods.
Digging through all those old photographs, I realized two things, 1) my mom was awfully good at making smile in photos, and that 2) I miss who I used to be.
I can honestly say I don’t ever remember being so happy.

HP Challenge : Day 5? I think?
Day 5 (oh, it is): Who’s your favorite male character, and why?
Remus Lupin. I feel he should be my obvious choice.
Reasons why:
1) To quote what a piece of art on deviantart said: “He always has chocolate, and he is willing to share.” <3
2) He’s a Marauder.
3) He was the best DADA teacher. Ever.
4) He looked after Harry like a son.
5) His status as a werewolf...

Dolores Umbridge. Hands down.
Sure, Bellatrix did a lot of f***** up shit, but I don’t think I ever wanted to personally kill her - “Let Harry and the gang handle that (or Molly Weasley like the BEAST she is)”, I thought. But with Dolores Umbridge? I really wished I could “Blue skadoo” into Order...

HP Challenge : Day 3.
Day 3 : Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book?
I think I shall spare Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix the anger-filled rant it deserves, and I shall pick an omitted scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 1.
In particular, I am extremely upset about Peter Pettigrew’s death, or lack...

HP Challenge: Day 2.
Day 2: Your favorite movie.
For the longest time Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite movie (I’m noticing a trend here). The movie followed the book pretty well, and it had the dark tone I envisioned from the book. Plus, the dementors looked better in this movie (darn you Order of the Phoenix+ for changing them!).
But then, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 1...

Oimoi.
“Oimoi” - A Greek expression equivalent to that of “woe is me!” It is an especially useful phrase for when you’re in a frenzied state of mind and are teeming with frustration. Similarly, I like to say “eee-hoe-lay”. I’m not sure of the proper spelling of that, but it’s a Spanish slang word that essentially means the same thing.
